Once I had one page of the last exercise about the grid I… couldn’t stop.

Last year Michael Fikaris asked me to make an eight page piece for an anthology he was putting together. I love Michael’s work and… I got totally intimidated! Everything I was making was terrible and I started and abandonded five different comics before I made this one. I find it very hard to make comics when I am trying to “make something good” and, when I am just trying something for fun (like I did with that last exercise) I find it much easier to make something I’m happy with.

The anthology 'Opposights: Alternative Comic Art from Australia & Indonesia' won’t be out for another month or two, but I’ll holler when it becomes available.
